Mrs. Sybil Stone Johnson

Inman, SC---Mrs. Sybil Stone Johnson, 71, formerly of 100 Vega Street Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5th, 2008.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 26, 1936, the daughter of the late Hulon and Era (Littlejohn) Stone. She was the wife of the late Charles Edward Johnson, having celebrated 54 years of marriage.
She retired from Spartan Undies and was a member of Dependent Baptist Church.

She was the loving mother of three children, Darlene Marlow and her husband David of Spartanburg, Kathy Hightower and her husband Otis of Inman and Eddie Johnson and his wife Pam also of Inman; two sisters AIliene Barnette of Inman and Shirley Clary of Spartanburg. She was the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, Todd Marlow, Chad Marlow, Jennifer Hightower, Jessica Easler, Clint Johnson, Robb Johnson and Ben Johnson and the loving great grandmother of four great grandchildren, Kyle Marlow, Logan Marlow, Gillian Marlow and Eli Marlow.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 :00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Geddes and Rev. Jonathan Bright officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Darlene Marlow, 299 Hunters Pointe Dr. Spartanburg.
