Sybil Pittman Howell

Sybil Pittman Howell, 90, of Campobello, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Spartanburg County on March 25, 1936, a daughter of the late Cannie (Dill) and Troy Pittman and was the wife of the late Ernest Joseph "Joe" Howell.

She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and served in the Sanctuary Sunday School Class.

She is survived by two sons, Craig Howell and his wife Dedra, Michael Howell and his wife Victoria; one grandson, Brandon Howell; two step-grandchildren, Doug Martin and Abigail Martin and one sister, Sarah Holcombe and her husband Fred.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by two sisters, Sandra Adams and Sue Jackson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina with Dr. Tim Clark and Dr. Tommy Turner officiating. Serving as Honorary Escorts will members of the Sanctuary Sunday School Class. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
