Susan Shields Pridgeon

Susan Shields Pridgeon, 67, of Cowpens, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 5, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Orelia (Cudd) Shields and Holland Shields.

She was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church and also attended View Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Pridgeon (Stuart Palmer); two brothers, Todd Shields (Cindy) and Larry Joe Shields (Becky) and four grandchildren, Molly Randolph, Ryken Randolph, John Michael Randolph and Olivia Palmer.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by one daughter, Adrena Randolph.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
