Susan Harvey Ballenger

Susan Harvey Ballenger, 58, of Duncan, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022.  

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on May 6, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Marshall Lee Harvey and Sarah Terry Smalley and Rev. Ronald L. Smalley.  She was the wife of the late Michael Shawn Ballenger.

Susan worked as a dental assistant and attended Boiling Springs Church of God.  

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Bishop (Greg Bush) of Chesnee, South Carolina; one grandson, Isaiah Bishop; two brothers, Terry Harvey (Debra) and Ronnie Smalley (Tonya) and two sisters, Teresa Looney and Angela Karczewski ( Jim).

The family will receive friends from 1:00- 1:45PM on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina.   Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Coward officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina.
