Mr. Suon Ath, 40, of 199 Black Street Spartanburg died Friday, December 25th, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Ath was born in Battambang, Cambodia on April 4, 1969, the son of the Oeun Ath and Phay Rang both of Spartanburg.
He was the husband of Sanom Chhan and was an employee of Spartan Foods.
He was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Sena Nina Ath of the home, two sisters, Sudy Ath of Spartanburg, Som Ath of Mass., and three brothers, Sean Ath of Spartanburg, Soeuth Ath of Calif., and Sun Ath of Spartanburg. He was also survived a large number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 1,2010, 10:00am until 12:00 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 2nd, with Pastor Sam Duong of the Cambodian Ministry of United Baptist Church in Spartanburg officiating.
