Sue Berry, 92, of 12 D Street, Inman, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Born in East Flat Rock, North Carolina on May 22, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Etta Osteen Johnson and Charles Johnson and was the wife of the late Ravenel H "Lucky" Berry.

She was a member of Inman First Free Will Baptist Church and was a devoted choir member and was also a pianist and organist at her church. Sue retired from Leigh Fibers and Spartanburg Community College.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Glow and husband Rick of Spartanburg, South Carolina, a son, Charles "Chuck" Berry, of Inman, South Carolina, 2 sisters, Juanita Laughter of Campobello, South Carolina, Frances Greene of Fletcher, North Carolina, a brother, David Johnson and wife Cathy of Asheville, North Carolina, 3 grandchildren, Amber Tooke, Kyle Tooke, and Ashley Kay Gilstrap and a chosen granddaughter, Tracy Tapp-Dobbins. Great grandchildren are Peyton Gary, Austyn Tooke, Baron and Evie Gilstrap. She was predeceased by a son Ravenel "Buddy" H. Berry, III

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends, Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Inman Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the church, with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating.

Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Kathryn Roberts for her loving care.
