Steven Eugene Taylor

Inman, SC--- Steven Eugene Taylor, 66, of 180 Pinefield Circle Inman, SC, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Lynn Page Taylor and a son of the late Anthony Eugene Taylor and Virginia (Belue) Taylor. Mr. Taylor retired from Springs Industries where he worked as an industrial engineer and was currently employed with Bi-Lo. He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church, worked as an SC ASA Softball Umpire, belonged to the SC ASA Hall of Fame and was an Eagle Scout. In addition to his loving wife Lynn, he is survived by a daughter, Julie Michelle Reece of Inman, SC; a son, Anthony "Tony" Frank Taylor of Greer, SC; two granddaughters, Logan Elizabeth Schuff of Inman, SC and Jordan Candice Taylor of Greer, SC; and a brother, Glenn Taylor and his wife Shirley of Greer, SC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 2:00 -2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jan King and Mr. Charlie Staggs officiating. Interment will be in Holston Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
