Steve Randall Varner

Steve Randall Varner, 63, of 111 Hammett Grove Lane, Greer, SC, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at his home.

Steve was born in Beaumont, SC on December 16, 1961, a son of the late Geraldine and Harold Dean Varner.

He worked as a welder at Spartanburg Steel and was of the Free Will Baptist faith.

Steve is survived by a daughter, Shannon Epling (Kenny), a son, Steven Varner (Ashley), a sister, Renee Varner, all of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, Kevin Rollins, of Holly Springs, SC, ex-wife, Sherry Hayes of Spartanburg, SC, grandchildren, Shalynn, Avery, Harmony, Landrum, Angel, Stevie, Kenzli and Seth. Steve is also survived by his four legged best friend, Amarillo.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 29th at Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg, SC with Rev Kenneth Cash officiating.
