Stephen "Steve" Lee Tipton
Steve Tipton, 62, of Inman, SC, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at his residence. Steve was born in Washington, DC on June 13, 1950, a son of the late Charles Frank and Marjorie Ophelia (Skelton) Tipton and was the husband of Teresa (Newman) Tipton. He worked as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Steve is survived by three sons Joshua Ellenburg, of Inman; Marshall Tipton, of Little Rock, AR; A. J. Tipton, of Inman; a step son,Wayne Ellenburg, of Inman; three sisters, Cheryl White, of Spartanburg; Nancy Boyd, of Cowpens; Karen Roberts, of North Carolina, a brother, Charles Tipton, of Boiling Springs; 4 grandchildren, Kaylee Tipton of Little Rock, AR, Gaby, Wayne and Nathaniel Ellenburg all of Inman. He was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Tipton.
The family is at the home of his son, 520 Holden Road, Inman and will receive friends Sunday 1:00 — 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 17th, with Rev Tim Wofford officiating.
