Stephen Duane Merideth, 43, of 126 Caroline Street Spartanburg, passed away Wednesday, January 30th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Stephen was born in Owensboro, KY on March 30, 1975, a son of Phyllis Burden Huntley, of Inman and Tom Merideth, of Gaffney. He had worked as a machinist and was a member of The National Rifleman's Association. He enjoyed college football and was an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by; his stepfather, Mike Huntley of Inman, a brother; Chris Merideth of Inman, a sister; Angela Milton and her husband Jimmy of Landrum, his former wife, Kim Steadman of Boiling Springs, his step daughter; Heather Gist of Woodruff, an aunt; Ramona Dickson of Vance, SC, two grandsons; Qyalan and Kingston Gist of Woodruff, and his fur puppies; Popeye, Shelby, and Harley.
The family is at the home of Mike and Phyllis Huntley at 551 Miller Hodge Road, Inman and will receive friends 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 3rd at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 3rd at Seawright Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Milton officiating.
