Stanford William Foster, Sr.

Stanford "Stan" William Foster, Sr. 76, of 410 Holston Creek Church Road, Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at his residence. 

Born in Inman, South Carolina on July 18, 1947, he was a son of the late Margaret Elizabeth (Metcalf)Foster and Edward Lee Foster and was the husband of Karen (Wood) Foster.

Stan was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church and served in the United States Army.  He worked for many years with Springs Industries in Lyman, South Carolina and as mail carrier.   

In addition to his wife Karen, he is also survived by one daughter, April Michelle Davis (Anthony); one son, William Foster, Jr. (Shelly); one brother, Reggie Foster; one granddaughter, Dariana Carter; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Easler; three step grandchildren, Kayla Smith, Ella Easler and Blake Kelly along with cousins, nieces and nephews.  

He was predeceased by one brother, Steve Foster.  

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
