Socheat Sam, 83, of 409 Midway Road Spartanburg, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his residence. Socheat was born in Kokone, Cambodia on June 15, 1933, a son of the late Kao Sam and Tea Sam. He was the husband of Noreta Var, and was retired from Barbara and Ross in Leesburg, VA
He was Buddhist. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters; Samanary Sam of Florida, Pisey Haley of Virginia, two sons; Robeab Sam of Spartanburg, Munin Sam of Virginia, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 28th, .
