Shirley Ann Crowder Smith, 76, of 611 Clovelly St. passed away Friday, March 24th, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Smith was born in Spartanburg, SC on February 2, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Richard Columbus and Hattie Carlee Calvert Crowder. She was the widow of Samuel James Smith, Sr. and was first married to the late Jerry Dean Smith . She had retired from textiles.
Mrs. Smith is survived by three daughters: Donna R. Tripp, Sheila J. Scripter, Tammy L. Boehme, a son, James Dean Smith, five grandchildren: Michael Keith Turner, Deanna Susan Turner, John Michael Tripp, Tabetha Haley, and Sean Lee Jackson. There are four step-children and one predeceased step-child. The family would like to acknowledge a sister-in-law, Margaret Black for her loving care and devotion shown to Shirley during her illness.
A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC conducted by Dr. Joe Geddes.
