Mrs. Shirley Roberta Johnson Pruitt, 70, of 375 Serpentine Dr, Spartanburg passed away Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg
Mrs. Pruitt was born in Spartanburg, SC on October 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Joe Howard and Ella Mae (Rhymer) Johnson and was the widow of Broadus Pruitt.
She is survived by three sons: Lee Pruitt of Campobello, Mark Pruitt of Fort Meyers, Florida, Kenneth Pruitt of Campobello, four sisters: Jean Newman Turner of Boiling Springs, Lucille Wolfe, Nellie Hutchins, Diane Strange all of Campobello, two brothers: J.V. Johnson of Boiling Springs, Marvin Johnson of Lake Greenwood, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister: Katie Abernathy and a brother: Harold Johnson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 1st, with Rev. Tommy Turner officiating.
Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Boiling Springs, SC.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday 2-3 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
