Shirley Pat High

Flat Rock, NC--Shirley Patricia (Pat) Strange High, 73, of 581 S Allen Road Flat Rock, NC, passed away on Sunday, June 2nd, at Elizabeth House, Henderson County. Born in Inman, SC on May 16, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Nellie Amanda (McCarter) Strange and was the wife of the late John Dean High. Mrs. High was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress.

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Gantt of Wellford, South Carolina; a son, Shannon High and his wife Mandy of Greer, South Carolina; a brother, William "Don" Strange of Lyman, South Carolina along with five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by 10 siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Melissa, 1831 Nazareth Church Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
