Shirley Ann Brown

Shirley Ann Brown, 86, of 6123 Woodfield Circle, Spartanburg, SC, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.

Shirley was born in Landrum, SC on December 22, 1938, a daughter of the late Clotilda DeSouza and Elmer Wyatt. She was the widow of Charles W. Brown. Shirley is survived by a daughter, Rita Brown, of Boiling Springs, S.C.; a son, Todd Gosnell and his wife Gail, of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Elsie Wofford, a brother, Walter Wyatt: six grandchildren Kesha Robinson, Autumn McGarity, Andrew Gosnell, Haley Rudisail, Taylor Hutcherson, Gus Hutcherson:and eight great grandchildren Shirley was predeceased by four sisters Alice Weaver, Mary Wofford, Mildred Childress, Dorthy Arrowood: a brother Junior Wyatt: a son Tim Hutcherson and a grandson Pete Hutcherson.

She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and was retired from The Department of Social Services.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Upstate Hospice House of Landrum Agape Care.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM-10:45 AM at Seawright Funeral Home with funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Dustin Duke officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg SC following the service.

The family will be at the home.
