Shirley Jean Bishop

Shirley Jean Bishop, 86, of 324 Rainbow Circle, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020, at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Shirley was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 25, 1934, a daughter of the late James Albert Bishop and Maude Mary Brown Bishop. She was a member of Covenant Worship Center in Boiling Springs, South Carolina.
Ms. Bishop is survived by a daughter, Robin Strickland and her husband, David, of Inman, South Carolina; three granddaughters, Summer Jones and her husband, Brad, of Chesnee, South Carolina; Kylie Gregory and her husband, Phillip, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Madison Leopard and her husband, Cody, of Lexington, South Carolina. Shirley is also survived by three great-grandsons, Ethan Jones; Trey Gregory and Kolton Gregory.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Bishop was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Bishop and a sister, Carolyn Horton.
Visitation will be held 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Milestones Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina, conducted by, Rev. Alan Ruff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303.
