Sherill Dianne Emory Poole, 79, of 462 Gemstone Lane, Inman, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg.

Sherill was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on September 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Lena Lucille (Cox) Emory and Howard Nathaniel Emory.

She was the widow of Billy Earl Poole, worked as an inspector at Butte Knit for over 18 years and was a member of North Spartanburg Free Will Baptist Church

Sherill is survived by a daughter, Theresa Dyches and husband Jack, of Inman, South Carolina; two sisters, Rhonda Bridgeman and husband Dan, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Donna Lynn Rollins , of Lincolnton, North Carolina; a brother, Terry Emory of Spartanburg, South Carolina, two grandchildren, Carla Dianne Galmiche , and Richard Kyle Lemmons. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Dianne Lemmons, two sisters, Theresa Kay Mathis and Linda Jean Craig, a brother, Howard "Sonny" Emory, and a granddaughter, Billie Cheryl Poole.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Good Shepherd Memorial Park Mausoleum in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. A crypt side service will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev Ray Hollifield officiating.
