Sherman George Sloan, 66, of 281 Freemont Road Inman, passed away Sunday, April 7th, at Regional Hospice Home, in Spartanburg.
He was born in Marrietta, S.C. on October 5, 1946, a son of the late Phebe Adelie (Lincolnfelt) and Bud Buren Sloan. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by three sisters, Lucy Mae Wooten of Inman, Geneva Waldrop of Easley and Wanda Shipman and her husband Harold of Travelers Rest. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, James Gilbert Sloan and David Daniel Sloan.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, April 9 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Turner officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday.
Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Travelers Rest, SC on Wednesday, April 10 at 2:00 PM.
