Sherman W. Owens

Inman, SC---Mr. Sherman W. Owens, 90, of Inman passed away on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
Born in Inman, S.C. on July 2, 1919, he was the son of the late James W. and Emmer (Barnett) Owens. He was first married to the Late Myrtle (Burrell) Owens and then to the late Elsie (Cothran) Owens.
He retired from Inman Mills after many years. Mr. Owens was a U.S. Army veteran and attended the Christian Lighthouse Fellowship in Inman.
Mr. Owens was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Eula Edmonds, Myrtle Brannon and Alma Miller;
and four brothers, Jim, Earl, Henry and Jay Owens.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 23rd from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg at 11 :00 AM on Monday, May 24th, with Rev. Johnny Guffey officiating.
