Shasta Beck Steed

Shasta Beck Steed, 82, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, South Carolina. 

Born in Lexington, North Carolina on March 21, 1942, she was the daughter of Joseph Hugh Beck and Mary Edwards Beck and was the wife of the late Ronald Franklin Steed. 

She is survived by one son, Kevin Steed, Sr. and his wife Tami; one brother, Ronnie Beck and his wife Carol; three grandchildren, Natosha Clark (Ryan), Kevin Steed, Jr. (Kinsley) and Amber Fowler; five great-grandchildren, Emmalin Clark, Emerson Clark, Emery Clark, Blakley Steed and Hudson Steed along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is also predeceased by one brother, Wayne Beck; one daughter, Amanda Geddes and one grandson, Brandon Fowler. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 11:30 - 12:15 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services will follow at 12:30 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tim Clark officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
