Sharon D. Varn

Sharon Drawdy Varn, 81 ,of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

Born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on February 25, 1943, she was a daughter of the late John Drawdy and Emma Gibb Drawdy and was the wife of Dr. Ben Varn, Jr. having celebrated 62 years of marriage. 

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by one son, Benjamin F Varn III and his wife Tracey; one daughter, Yvonne Varn; two brothers, John Drawdy and David Drawdy and his wife Lisa; two sisters, Barbara Lacey and her husband Ronald and Mary Garcia and her husband Rick; two brother-in-laws, Dewey Varn and his wife Chris and George Varn and his wife Laura; two sister-in-laws, Christa Varn and Joan Varn; six grandchildren, Nicole Roebuck, Amber Simons, Emma Varn, Katie Varn, Ellie Green and Ashley Simons; six great grandchildren, Shailyn Farr, Kennedy Rice, Kellen Rice, Hadley Archie, Charlee Simons and Bryson Aerhart and one great great grandson, Legend X. Murphy. 

She was also predeceased by one brother, Michael Drawdy and one brother-in-law, Douglas Varn. 

A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Raymond Burrows officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations in memory of Sharon may be made to the Don Bunch Citadel Tennis Scholarship.
