Chesnee, SC---Sgt Jeremiah Thomas Wittman, 26, of Colorado Springs, Colorado died February 13, 2010 in Afghanistan serving during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Sgt Wittman was born in Billings, Montana on July 9, 1983, the son of Robert Wittman and Cynthia Dvorak Church both of Billings, Montana. He was the husband of Karyn Rose Reneau Wittman.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Miah Wittman and Ariauna Andrews; three sisters, Charity Wittman of Cody, Wyoming, Jenell McElhinny and Natasha Wittman both of Billings, Montana; one brother, Robbie Wittman of Billings, Montana; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ray and Carol Reneau of Chesnee, SC.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 27,2010 from 12:00 1:45PM at Buck Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM at Buck Creek Baptist Church in Chesnee with Rev. Paul Wolff officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jeremiah Wittman memorial fund for his children clo Arthur State Bank PO Box 5135 Spartanburg, SC 29304.
