Scott Alan Simpson Sr.

Scott Alan Simpson, Sr., 68, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at his residence. Scott was born in Homestead, Florida on November 2, 1957, a son of the late Virginia (Wray) and Lt. Col. Drewry Simpson. He was the husband of Sharon (Hall) Simpson. His survivors include his children, Scott Simpson Jr., Shannon Igleheart, Nikki Files and Lee Files (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Logan Simpson (Emma), Allie Files, Olivia Igleheart, Reagan Igleheart and Ivy Igleheart; one great grandchild, Wells Simpson; two sisters, Cheryl Whitfield (Larry) and Pam Atkinson (Jerry) and a brother, Jerry Simpson.

Scott was retired from manufacturing and was an avid Clemson Fan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 27th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC with Pastor Russell Whitfield officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
