Sarah Elizabeth Waldrop Crawley, 83, of 92 Brock Street, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum, South Carolina. Sarah was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on July 31, 1934 a daughter of the late Horace and Gertrude Waldrop. She was the widow of Clyde Eugene Crawley, whom she had been married to for sixty years at the time of his death in 2010. Mrs. Crawley was a member of Hope Church and a former employee with Inman Mills - Saybrook Plant, Hersey Products, J.C. Penny and Bilo grocery store. Mrs. Crawley is survived by a daughter, Tamara A. Crawley and her companion, Kim Souther, of Wellford, South Carolina; two sons Mark A. Crawley and his wife, Kimberley "Darla", of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Ricky E. Crawley and his wife, Cindy, of Landrum, South Carolina; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Ray Crawley and his wife, JoAnne and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and spouse, Mrs. Crawley was predeceased by a son; Terry Crawley; a grandson; Justin Cash; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 20, 2017, conducted by Rev. Jan King. Visitation will immediately follow the service at Seawright Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, South Carolina. The families are at their respective homes.
