Campobello, SC---Samuel Jerome Collins, 84, of 501 Caldwell Street Campobello, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Regional Hospice Home. Born in Inman, South Carolina on April 28, 1932, he was the son of the late Floyd Mack and Amelia (Lee) Collins. He was also predeceased by ten siblings. Mr. Collins was first married to the late Mrs. Nellie (Atkins) Collins for 30 years before her passing and later married Mrs. Bobbie Collins. Mr. Collins was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church, served in the Army National Guard, was a retired truck driver and was a Shriner and a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge # 201. He is survived by one son, Donald Collins and his wife Sheila of Inman, SC; three daughters, Sandy Sutton and her husband James "Tinker" of Boiling Springs, SC, Donna Pace and her husband Charles of Inman, SC, Sheila Mintz and her husband Tim of Inman, SC; six grandchildren, Travis Collins and his wife Wendy of Inman, SC Leanna Henderson of Inman, SC, Savannah Sutton of Boiling Springs, SC, and Brannon Pace, Logan Mintz and Taylor Mintz all of Greenville, SC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 1:00 - 1:45 PM at Inman Mills Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM in the church with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
