Myrtle Ruth Chesney Robinson, 83, of 370 Nanney Road, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Ruth was born in Spartanburg County on September 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Louis K. Chesney and Gladys Mae Pruitt Chesney. She was the widow of Marvin Robinson. Ruth was a retired employee of International Wire and of the Baptist faith.
Ruth is survived by a sister, Peggy Woodfin and her husband, Jeff of Inman, South Carolina; a brother, Louis K Chesnee and his wife, Ruth, of Panama City, Florida; twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Robinson was predeceased by a son, Marty Robinson; and two brothers, Ray and Billy Chesney.
The family is at the residence.
