Ruth Camp

Inman, SC--- Betty Ruth Pack Camp, 86, of 925 Lyday Lane, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Eden Terrace of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Ruth was born in Inman, South Carolina on October 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Isaac Brownlow Pack and Liddie Posey Parris Pack. She was the widow of William Roy Camp, Sr. Ruth was the retired owner and operator of Camp Haven Nursing Home, where she also served as a LPN. She was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church where she was a former choir member. Mrs. Camp was a Mobile Meals volunteer for several years. Mrs. Camp is survived by two sons; William "Billy" Camp and his wife Mary Anne of Charleston, South Carolina, Bobby Camp and his wife Collette of Orlando, Florida; a brother, Tommy Pack and his wife Sarah of Campobello, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Trey Camp, Thomas Camp, Bonnie Camp Blackwell and Heather Camp. In addition to her parents and spouse, Ruth was predeceased by a sister, Joan Pack Greenway. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Inman Mills Baptist Church, at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 8, 2016, with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Inman Mills Baptist Church, Family Life Center Fund, 22 B Street, Inman, SC 29349.
