Russell Bomer Wingo Jr

 Russell Bomer Wingo, Jr, 80, of Walnut Hill Church Road in Campobello, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at his residence. 

Russell was born in Inman, on October 1, 1944, a son of the late Lula Mae Pike Wingo and Russell Bomer Wingo, Sr.

He retired from Phelps Dodge Corp. and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. 

He is survived by a son, Corey Wingo and his wife, Jamie, of Inman, a granddaughter, Morgan Wingo of Inman, and a special nephew, Michael Kimbrell of Campobello.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Take One Make One (TOMO Youth Hunting Program), PO Box 167, Columbia, South Carolina 29202-0167.
