Spartanburg, SC--- Rush Dover Hardin, 98, of 400 Webber Road Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at White Oak Estates. Born in Blacksburg, South Carolina on August 12, 1919, he the son of the late William Price and Cleo (Dover) Hardin and was the husband of the late Barbara (McClanahan) Hardin. Mr. Hardin served his country during World War II in the United States Army Air Corps. He retired from Southern Railway where he worked as a signal maintainer and was a member of United Baptist Church in Spartanburg. He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda H. Leonard, of Boiling Springs; South Carolina and a son,Rush E. Hardin (Cathey), of Ennis, Montana; two grandsons, William David Leonard and Warren Daniel Leonard and two great grandchildren, Hardin Leonard and Maple Leonard. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
