Ruby Doris Tinsley

Mrs. Ruby Doris Wright Tinsley, 84, of 301 Blackwell Drive Inman went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 26th, 2011 at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman. Born in Spartanburg, SC on July 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Jason Aubry and Emma (Hutchins) Wright and was the wife of the late Mr. George Robert Tinsley having celebrated 59 years of marriage. Mrs. Tinsley was a graduate of Gramling High School. She retired from Butte Knit where she worked as an inspector for many years and was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Ann Ridings and her husband Steve of Inman, a sister, Patricia Clem of Gaffney, two grandchildren, Steven Dale Ridings and his wife Ginger of Inman and Brian Scott Ridings and his wife Paula of Pacolet, and three great grandchildren, Bailey Ridings, Kristen Ridings and Jessica House. She was predeceased by a brother, Jason Wright. The family will receive friends from 1 :00 PM until 1: 45 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Reggie Parker and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg.
