Ruby E. Settle

Mrs. Ruby Elizabeth Ellison Settle, 91, of 391 Old Settle Road went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on December 19, 1919,she was the daughter of the late Adger Monroe and Leila (Martin) Ellison and was the wife of the late Mr. Ralph M. Settle. Mrs. Settle retired from the Belk Hudson Company and was a member of the Inman First Baptist Church where she was the former W.M.U. Director and teacher of the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She is survived by three sisters, Ruth Elrod of Williamston, SC, Leona Tyner of Anderson, SC and Edna Keaton and her husband Bob of Anderson, SC. She was predeceased by three brothers, Monroe, Carl and Earle Ellison. The family will receive friends Friday, December 9, 2011 from 10-11AM at Inman First Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow in the sanctuary with Dr. Paul Moore and Jeremiah Childers officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be David Settle, Jr., Harris Settle, Woody Settle, Dennis Settle, Jerry Raines and Joe Perrotte. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
