Ruby Shirley Nichols

Ruby Shirley Bridges Nichols, 90, of 5 Culbreth St, Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Ruby was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 24, 1936, a daughter of the late Edna Mae (Abernathy) Bridges and William "Bill" Bridges.

She was the widow of Jessie Wilbur Nichols and was homemaker.

Ruby is survived by a daughter, Judy Ann Smith, of Kansas, and a son, Richard Nichols, of the home.

Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
