Ruby O. Pruitt Edwards, 72, of 760 Skyline Drive Campobello passed away Thursday, March 20th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Greenville, S.C. on May 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Grace Starkey Pruitt and Toy Pruitt.
She was the wife of Thomas J. Edwards and had worked as a nurse's aid. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children; Gracie Means of Inman, Thomas E. Edwards of the home, Alice F. Ramsey of Campobello, Wayne Edwards of Campobello, Robin Green of Campobello, sisters; Mary Hines of Taylors, Carolyn Suttles of Lyman, six grandchildren; James Means and Wayne Means of Inman, Kimberly Hines, Candie Hutchins, Tevin Edwards, and Brittaney Simmons, all of Campobello; three step grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren. The family will be at their respective homes. It was the wish of Mrs. Edwards to not have any services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association 364 S. Pine St. Suite B 155 Spartanburg, SC 29301.
