Mr. Roy Dean Hipp, 72, of 1505 Mason Road Inman died Thursday, April 7th, 2011 at Magnolia Place-Spartanburg.
Mr. Hipp was born in Spartanburg on December 24, 1938, the son of the late Marie Horton Hipp.
He retired from residential painting and served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
He is survived by a daughter, Samantha Cothran and three grandchildren, Cain, Matthew, and Sidney Pruitt all of Spartanburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00-3:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 3:00pm on Sunday, April 10th, with Rev. Kenny McDowell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals PO Box 461 Spartanburg, SC 29304.
