Roy Allen Fowler, 81, of 821 E. Golden View Lane Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 27th, 2026.

Roy was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on September 5, 1944, a son of the late Helen Louise Allen Fowler and Roy Woodrow Fowler. He was the husband of Diane Bogren Fowler who survives him, of the home.

He retired from Met Life Finance and attended Carlisle Wesleyan Church. Roy honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was formerly a Gideon..

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a son; Roy Allen Fowler, Jr and his wife, Shawna of Marshall, NC, two daughters; Deanna Fowler of Inman, Laurel Bates and her husband, Trent, of Arden, NC, a brother; Jerry Fowler and his wife, Tricia, of Athens, West Virginia, a sister; Helen Fowler of Statesville, NC, five grandchildren; Megan Long, Thomas Long, Caroline Kilby, Hannah Berdy, Benjamin Webb, and two great grandchildren; Wade Kilby and Erin Kilby. In addition to his parents, Roy was also predeceased by two sisters; Kay Miller, Delores Caylor, a brother; Harry Fowler, and a granddaughter; Erin Long.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 30th at Carlisle Wesleyan Church in Chesnee with Dr. Bryan Stepp and Rev. Craig Caylor officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 Saturday at Carlisle Wesleyan Church.

Private interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman.
