Juanita Westbrook Marlow
Inman - Rosa Juanita Westbrook Marlow, born April 15, 1927, in Inman, SC, daughter of the late Norman O. and Rosa Huggins Westbrook, went home to be with her beloved Savior April 26, 2009. A member of First Baptist Church North Spartanburg, she especially enjoyed the annual Singing Christmas Tree. She sang in church choirs for over 60 years, and was often a soloist. Juanita was known for her sweet, kind spirit and always having her grandchildren's favorite home-baked treats on hand.
Surviving are her husband J.I. Leroy Marlow; children, Suzanne Hardeman and her husband, Michael, of Columbia, SC, Carolyn Richardson of Duncan, Otto Marlow and his wife, Kathy, of Ramseur, NC, Jeannie Schlessman and her husband, David, of Chattanooga, TN, and James Marlow and his wife, Kim, of Inman; sister, Ruby Westbrook Ballew; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, at Seawright's Funeral Chapel with interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the home, 125 Fury Drive, following burial.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church North Spartanburg, RoseCrest, Mobile Meals, or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
The family would like to express their appreciation to RoseCrest for taking such good care of our Grandmother and to the staff of Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. They were wonderful to Juanita and her family.
