Ronald "Ron" Roy Garrett

Ronald "Ron" Roy Garrett, 76, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on February 14, 1947, he was a son of the late Ruby Fay (Thompson) and Leroy Garrett and was the husband of Linda Gail (Ford) Garrett.

He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and past Sunday School Teacher and was the current commissioner at Holly Springs Fire Department.   Ron retired from DHEC as a regional manager and was the owner/operator of Garrett & Garrett Contracting.  

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his daughter, Angela Garrett Helms and her husband Joey; his son, Ronald Scott Garrett and his wife Stephanie; five grandchildren, Justin Garrett Helms, Cameron Helms Belue (Cody), Lucas Scott Garrett, Peyton Jude Garrett, Cason Blake Garrett along with four great grandchildren, Madyson Helms, Makenna Helms, Jaxon Belue and Brynlie Belue and Paul and Vicki Cannon who he thought of as a brother and sister.

A Celebration of his life service will be held at Holston Creek Baptist Church on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Barry Neely officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:45 PM on Thursday at Holston Creek Baptist Church.
