Rona Mae Burns Phipps, 84, of 130 Johnson Ave, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at her home. Rona was born in Saluda, NC on September 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Raymond Alvin and Lillie Mae (Summey) Burns. She was the widow of Clarence Phipps, worked at Wade's and was a private duty caregiver. She was of the Baptist faith. Rona is survived by a daughter, Elise Constant( Harold), of Hudson, Florida, four grandchildren, Jackie Gaddy, II (Jamie), Nicole Gaddy, Julie Kornet (Phil), Edwin Constant, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Evon Gaddy and Estelle Russell, one brother, Raymond Burns (Rosa) and one sister, Rosa Russell (J.B.). The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2:00 — 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 13th, with Dr. Reggie Parker and Chaplain Andrew Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
