Roland M. Holt

Campobello, SC--- Roland Maxwell Holt, Jr., 63, of 8580 New Cut Rd. passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at his residence. Born in Spartanburg, SC on October 8, 1952, he was a son of the late Miriam (Lee) and Roland Maxwell Holt, Sr. and was the husband of Kathy Smith Holt.

Mr. Holt worked in sales in the coatings industry for many years and worked as a reserve officer for the Inman Police Department. He was a member of Inman First Baptist Church and served in the Ludie Brady Sunday School Class.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, he is survived by a son, Richard Holt of Campobello, SC; one brother, Steven Holt (Crystal) of Dennison, Iowa; one sister, Melanie Reeves (Robert) of Aiken, SC. He was predeceased by his parents and by a sister, Susan Holt.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2:00 -3:00 PM in the Atrium of the Inman First Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church with Dr. Paul Moore officiating. The Ludie Brady Sunday School class will serve as honorary escorts.
