Roger Renfro "Bubba" Welch

Roger Renfro (Bubba) Welch, 81, of Data Bush Drive Inman, SC, passed away peacefully after a long illness, Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his home.

Roger was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on May 1, 1944, a son of the late Eula (Renfro) and Harold Porter Welch. He was the husband of Barbara (Barnes) Welch.

He is survived by his daughter, Ada Welch and a brother, Ronald Welch.

He was retired from Michelin US Plant 3 after 25 years of service as an electro-mechanical troubleshooter and served in the U.S. Army. During his tenure at Michelin Roger was given awards for which Michelin received several patents for.

Visitation will be at Seawright Funeral Home on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 1:00 until 1:45 PM, funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Dr. Reggie Parker and Chaplain Jeff Melvin officiating.

Burial will be in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Inman, SC.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Agape Hospice and the various caregivers who helped throughout his long illness.
