Roger Joel Revels

Roger Joel Revels, 79, of Inman, SC passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Upstate Community Hospice in Landrum, South Carolina. Roger was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 2, 1942, a son of the late Loal (Jeffries) Revels and John Roland Revels and was the husband of Dallas Dee (Stevens) Revels.

Mr. Revels served in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis of 1961. He was a member of Inman First Free Will Baptist Church and had worked as a long haul truck driver for 30 years.

In addition to his wife Dee, he is also survived by his daughter, Amie Cudd of Taylors, South Carolina along with two grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by one son, Shawn Revels along with one sister and one brother.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Fortner officiating.

Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #45.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman First Free Will Baptist Church, 90 Blackstock Rd., Inman, SC 29349.
