Roger Joseph Emory

Roger Joseph Emory, 73, of 481 Zion Church Road in Pacolet, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at his residence after a long illness. He was affectionately known as Derge and Bubba when he lived in the Inman Mills community.
Roger was born in Spartanburg on July 17, 1947, a son of the late Billie Sue Messer Emory and Thomas Edward Emory.
He retired from Spartan Hydraulics and had served in the U.S. Marines Corps in the Vietnam War era.
He is survived by a daughter; Heidi Cole of Pacolet, a son; Scott Emory of Boiling Springs, a brother; Todd Emory of Inman, two step brothers; Robert Hawkins of Campobello, Steve Hawkins of Fairmont, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his stepmother, Doris Emory and two brothers, Tony Emory and Scott Paul Emory. At the request of Mr. Emory, there will be no formal services held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Amercians Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
