 Roger Wyman Cantrell, 79, of 1390 Rock Hill Church Rd Inman, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at his home. 

Roger was born in Polk County, NC on September 5, 1944, a son of the late Eunice and Wallace Cantrell and was the husband of Barbara Harmon Cantrell.

He retired from Sunbeam Bakery, now Sara Lee and was a member of Victory Baptist Church on Sugar Ridge Road, Boiling Springs. He served in the NC National Guard. 

In addition to his wife, Roger is also survived by two daughters, Retha Cantrell Cox of Inman, Chris O'Donnell (John) of Inman, two granddaughters, Brooke Terrill of Simpsonville, Caroline Terrill of Inman, and number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Travis Cantrell and two sister, Maxine Williams and Winna Jean Lattimore.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2024, at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman with Rev. Josh Turner officiating. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Friday at Seawright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
