Roger Eugene Barnette

Roger Eugene Barnette, 75, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024. 

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on April 10, 1949, he was a son of the late Frank Barnette and Margaret Alleen Cochran Barnette and was the loving husband of Paulette Gowan Barnette having celebrated 45 years of marriage. 

Roger was an owner/operator paint contractor, member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy. 

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, April Barnette Willis and her husband Tommy and Elizabeth Barnette Pruitt and her husband Marc; one son, Andrew McCutcheon and his wife Melanie; one sister, Emily Burns and her husband Mike; one brother, Frankie Barnette; five grandchildren, Jared Willis (Caroline), Hannah Cerino (Ryan), Calleigh Pruitt, Marlie Pruitt and Hannah Horton and one great grandson, Wells Cerino and many special nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by one brother, Brent Barnette. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 1:00-1:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Jack Hames and Rev. Jeff Cochran officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Boiling Springs Post 200 Honor Guard.

The family is at the home of his son, Andrew McCutcheon.
