Campobello, SC--- Rodger Earl Pike, 68, Campobello, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born in Spartanburg County on August 28, 1948, he was a son of Virginia (Johnson) Pike and the late James Thomas Pike, Sr. Mr. Pike served in the United State Navy during the Vietnam Era, was a graduate of Cecil's Business College and retired as a car salesman. He was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church, Shriner and a member of the Fairforest Masonic Lodge # 393 and was an avid Gamecock fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughter's, Angie Pike and Anissa Pike; two sisters, Janice Reid an Brenda Parham (Ed); one brother, Tommy Pike; one niece, Haylee Parham; one nephew, Brentt Parham and two great nieces. He was also predeceased by a daughter, April Dawn Pike.
Graveside services will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 with Dr. Reggie Parker officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 Faris Rd.
