Robert Joshua "Josh" Waters

Josh Waters, beloved son of Robbie and Ginger Waters, went to sing with the angels on September 29, 2024. Josh was 46 years old. He was born October 6, 1977.

He was a 1995 graduate of Chapman High School. He had a degree in computer science and worked as a systems engineer for several companies before becoming disabled. He was an avid Alabama and Carolina Panthers football fan. He was a Mason and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. He had one son, Greyson, that he cherished more than anything on earth. Josh dearly loved all of his family and friends.

In addition to his parents and son, Greyson, he is survived by two sisters, Lisa Chastain (Timmy), Stephanie Ort (Greg), three nieces, Caitlin Johnson, Ashlyn Ort, and Allie Ort, several uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman SC on October 10th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. 

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Middle Tyger River Fire and Rescue or charity of your choice.
