Robert Lee Slawson, 87, of 92 Stacy Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at his home.
Robert was born in Swartz Creek, Michigan on August 26, 1932, a son of the late Madge Vivian (Johnson) Slawson and Ira Miles Slawson.
He was the widower of Constance Dora (Easton) Slawson and retired from General Motors. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Robert is survived by a daughter, Lynda Followay, of Inman; a son, Brian Slawson, of Gainesville, Florida and one grandson, Nicholas Followay of Inman
Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 9th at Shiloh Memorial Cemetery in Inman, SC with Rev Mitch Crow officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
