Robert "Bob" Morton

Inman, SC---Robert Lyndall "Bob" Morton, 80, of 224 Martha Court, died unexpectedly January 26, 2016 at his home. Bob was born in Philadelphia Pa. on May 7th, 1935 and was the son of the late Oscar Burbage Morton and Bertha Delores( Nesco) Morton. He was the widower of Mary Margaret (Clemson) Morton and had celebrated 18 years of marriage until her death in 2014. Bob had retired from a power company in Pennsylvania and lived in Bradenton, Florida before moving to Inman, SC. While living in Florida, Bob and his wife made many friends including their neighbors, Woolsey and Donna Allen. They also enjoyed their canine family.
Bob served his country in the US Navy and the Naval Reserves. He was a very kind, genuine and likable person who made friends easily. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Stanford officiating.
