Robert "Bob" John Follman, 61, of 275 Hammett Rd. died Thursday, July 9th, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Follman was born in Queens, N. Y. on June 4, 1948, the son of the late Robert John Follman, Sr and Gladys Sarah Strunz Follman. He worked as an auto body shop repairman and as the coordinator of the A.B.A.T.E. Group for Spartanburg County. He was a fundraiser for many charitable organizations throughout his life and was of the Jehovah's Witness faith. He is survived by a son, Robert Follman of the home, two sisters, Barbara Taylor and her husband David of Hilton Head, SC., and Suzanne Benjamin and her husband Fred of Wind Gap, Pa.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 5 to 6 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held following the visitation at 6:15 PM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Mr. Mike Fletcher.
